Julie Schelfhaut
Chief Financial Officer
Julie Schelfhaut holds a Master in Management (MSc in Finance & Management Control) from EDHEC Business School and brings over 20 years of international experience across investment management, infrastructure, real assets and private capital. She has led finance and operations functions for global investment platforms in Australia, UK, and Europe.
Before joining Balmain, Julie served as Chief Financial Officer for a Monaco‑based single family office, Managing Director Finance & Operations at Arjun Infrastructure Partners and Chief Financial Officer at ClearBridge Investments Australia (formerly RARE Infrastructure). Earlier roles at ING Real Estate Investment Management and EY further strengthened her expertise in real assets, fund operations and institutional reporting. Julie has delivered major finance transformation programs, enhanced operational efficiency, and supported M&A and integration initiatives across listed and unlisted strategies.
Julie joined Balmain as Chief Financial Officer in November 2025 and contributes to the firm’s disciplined financial management, strong governance, and continued leadership in commercial mortgage finance, real estate debt and institutional funds management.
