April 7, 2026

Hosted in an elegantly presented room, there were 170 guests seated comprising mothers (and some fathers) of the students attending St Catherine’s School, past and present students, and friends of the school.
The event was focused on fundraising to support the School’s successful Indigenous Education Program.
During the luncheon, the guests heard from one of the Year 12 Indigenous Students, who discussed the benefit of the scholarship and her experience at the school, her management of Year 12 studies combined with her dedication to rowing and netball, and her connections with her family.

The lunch also featured a special guest – Channel 7’s Sunrise News Reader, Edwina Bartholomew, who was interviewed by one of the school parents - Sarah Nelson. Edwina entertained guests by very genuinely sharing her experience within the Media industry and expressed how her education and career success have empowered her throughout her life – all whilst trying to find the right balance between work and personal life.
Finally, our very own COO, Jenni Neumann, had the privilege of speaking on behalf of Balmain as the Platinum Sponsor. In relation to the UN’s International Women’s Day
theme for 2026 – “Balancing the Scales”, Jenni mentioned the imbalance in the areas of education and financial confidence. In response, Jenni shared that Balmain and St Cath’s would be working together on some specific educational initiatives for St Cath's students and alumni.
A great event, all in support of balancing the scales, empowering women and supporting St Catherines Indigenous Education Program.

Balmain’s Head of Origination, Henry Holm, sat down with Bryce and Alec from the Equity Mates podcast to unpack the private credit boom in Australia.
We are thrilled to extend an invitation to attend the Balmain Opportunity Trust Investor Meeting, where we will delve into our prospects for the year.
