Balmain secures 3rd place in race 2 of the season

Race 2 of the 2024 Sixt Spring 18 footer Championship took place last Sunday on Sydney Harbour. Sixteen teams competed in a favourable 8-12 knot northeast wind, a significant improvement over the strong southerly winds of Race 1. The race kept spectators engaged with frequent changes in the lead.
Balmain, crewed by Henry Larkings, Miles Davey, and Flynn Twomey, surged from seventh at the end of the second lap to finish third, just 31 seconds behind Smeg.
