After a two year hiatus, Balmain welcomed Investors and friends back to their annual private Archibald, Wynne and Sulman Prize viewing at the Art Gallery of NSW.
The Archibald Prize for portrait painting is the country’s favourite and most significant art award. Since 1921, it has highlighted figures from all walks of life, from famous faces to local heroes, reflecting back to us the stories of our times. The Wynne Prize is awarded to the best landscape painting of Australian scenery, or figure sculpture, while the Sulman Prize is given to the best subject painting, genre painting or mural project in oil, acrylic, watercolour or mixed media.

It was thrilling for all in attendance to once again join Balmain in sharing an evening of fine art, lively discussion and chamber music all accompanied by fresh and wonderful canapés and fine wines.

Throughout May, Balmain gathered over 1,000 Balmain Opportunity Trust (BOT) investors and guests at the Fullerton Hotel in Sydney and the W Hotel in both Brisbane and Melbourne.

Balmain’s Head of Origination, Henry Holm, sat down with Bryce and Alec from the Equity Mates podcast to unpack the private credit boom in Australia.
