2026 Balmain Cup Sprint Series

One of the most anticipated dates on the 18 Footers and Balmain calendar proved to be another great success.
The 2026 Balmain Cup welcomed hundreds of Balmain investors to Sydney Harbour last Friday (30), coming together to cheer, celebrate and enjoy a truly memorable day on the water.
Fresh north easterly winds exceeding 20 knots delivered a challenging afternoon series of three races for the Australian 18 Footers League fleet. Several capsizes before racing even began set the tone for a challenging day for the crews.
After three races, the Balmain team finished the competition in 5th place overall, delivering outstanding 1st and 2nd place finishes over the races 1 and 2 before being unable to complete the final race of the day.
